Symptoms may come and go, or be persistent. Some patients are able to temporarily remedy their symptoms with massage or rest. 

The severity of Morton’s neuroma cases can vary greatly. In mild cases, simple at-home treatments can rid one of their neuroma. These at-home treatments include the use of ice to reduce swelling, or an over-the-counter shoe insert that provides cushioned support. In more severe cases, medical intervention is usually necessary. Treatments for Morton’s neuroma include orthotics and prescription anti-inflammatory drugs.
